If you've ever wanted to read every book in the library, maybe you should rethink that.

I’ve been an on-again off-again fan of Fox’s show New Girl all season for various reasons, but I do admit they have some surprising zingers. This is especially relevant to my summer children’s lit challenge.

(Jess points to Nick) “I might as well call you Bridge to Terabithia because you make children cry.” (Jess points to Schmidt) “And you! I might as well call you Indian in the Cupboard because you put an Indian in Cece’s—never mind.”

Even though Jess knows these titles because she’s a K-12 teacher, I’m pleased she made reference to these books in day-to-day life. Unfortunately, I will never be able to think of The Indian in the Cupboard the same way again. >.<

I will be reading one of these books this summer. Keep reading to find out which one.
