A lovely blog I visit called Another 12 Novels In 12 Months had a writing prompt in which one finds an inspirational picture. I had this image in mind from the day I read this post, and as I’m always late to the party you all will finally get to see it.

Stairs.

Not just stairs. Any stairs without a person or defined, worldly setting. The most prompting images of stairs allows me to add my character on my own, and has a mysterious location that could be transformed into my own setting.
